Apple has finally announced the US launch date of the iPhone. It will be officially available on the 29 June in the US. Unfortunately Apple still hasn’t given a release date for the UK or Europe.
But Research Indicates that Apple iPhone is too Expensive
The much anticipated Apple iPhone, will sell for $499 for the 4GB version and $599 for the 8GB – between £250 and £300. However, recent research has indicated that these prices are too high for majority of US customers. Nearly 60% of respondents said that they’d be willing to pay up to £200 for the iPhone, while just over a quarter said that they’d pay between £200 and £250. Only 10% would be prepared to pay £250-300 and only 4% said they’d pay over £300.
In a survey conducted on the Dialaphone blog, 70% of respondents said that the iPhone was too expensive at £250 to £300. See results below:

However, the Apple brand name has a lot of attraction and so we still forecast that the iPhone will be one of the hottest phones ever released.
