This is first picture of the forthcoming Bang & Olufsen mobile phone. It currently has two names “Samsung F310″ and “B&O Serenata”, we are not sure which name Samsung intend to use.
The previous Bang & Olufsen designed Samsung phone, the Serene, was not exactly practical (You can see a picture of the Serene in this post). It required a special screwdriver to access the battery and the SIM card, and its circular keypad took some getting used to. Also, for some strange reason they positioned the camera lens on the side of the device, which made it difficult to align snapshots via the viewfinder on the display. I hope Bang & Olufsen has done a better design job this time.
Below is the spec for the Samsung F310 / Serenata, nothing particularly special but the good news is its HSDPA enabled.
- GSM 900/1800/1900 + 2.1GHz, EDGE, HSDPA 3.6Mbps connectivity
- Bluetooth and USB 2.0
- 2.1″ 262K color 240×320px display
- 2 megapixel camera and VGA front camera
- 20MB of user memory
- MicroSD memory card slot
- MP3 & mpeg4 players
- Dedicated music keys
- Dimensions: 103 x 48 x 12.8 mm
I’m sure more pictures will be appearing soon.

this be a fine piece of eight it be well worth all mi treasure aaaarrrrg
Boring, unimaginative, lack-lustre. For a company manufactoring house phones & stereo hi-fi I expect more. What a waste.
Samsung is a lame company in this business….this does not inspire me for sure
