Some are saying that the Samsung L770 is raining on other mobile makers’ parade by outshining a slew of products, including many on the Samsung display table.

Of the extended list of Samsung mobile handsets released at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, many have commented that the best looking among the bunch is the Samsung L770.
The stylish slider measures 102 x 48 x 14.2 millimeters, weighs 93 grams and sports a 2.1 inch QVGA display. The handset comes with HSDPA connectivity, mobile blogging capability, Media player, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, FM radio, Internet browser, RSS reader, USB, document viewer, 2 Megapixel camera, a 2.1-inch screen, and microSD card support.
Apart from the new high-end phones that Samsung is currently showcasing at the Mobile World Congress, the South Korean producer also presented its 2008 line up of lower-priced handsets. However, the L770, which has shared the stage with the Samsung F400 as the top attention grabbers, has largely outshined the more affordable and arguably less stylish mobile phones that Samsung has barely put an once of mobile marketing behind so far.
Thanks to Motorola’s dwindling mobile presence, Samsung has reached the second place on the mobile phone global sales chart, which as some have suggested, has provoked a revision of the maker’s range and priorities. For now, it’s apparent that Samsung realizes that while imaging capabilities in mobile phones remain vital, the next big focus is entertainment and services. And it looks as though Samsung is honing in on exactly what the mobile market is demanding.
