Nokia is ready to launch what many analysts believe to be a real competitor to iTunes next month. The service, called Comes With Music, will be released in the UK during October and will allow those who have bought a Comes With Music nokia handset, unlimited downloads from the millions of songs stored in the Nokia Music Store. According to the Financial Times Nokia has already signed up Universal Music, Sony BMG and Warner Music and are confident of having EMI on board by the time of the UK launch.
What is probably the best news of all for those considering a Comes With Music offer is that when your phone contract ends, you get to keep all of the music that you have downloaded. The Nokia 5310 and N95 8GB are both lined up to kick off the service and more handsets are expected to be added to the bill.
