Here’s an interesting piece of news concerning the much-rumoured PSP Phone, the supposed amalgamation of mobile phone and Sony’s PlayStation Portable. The Daily Telegraph reports that Sony themselves have squashed plans submitted by Sony Ericsson for such a device, by refusing to license the PlayStation brand name to them. This all took place last year and with the recent Nokia’s N-gage improvements and the iPhone’s plentiful supply of App Store games, it must have been quite a blow for them!
Seeing as Sony already license their CyberShot and Walkman brand names, it does seem strange they would stop short here, however, this may not be the end of the line for the mobile gaming handset. Tech Digest suggest that Sony could clear the name for use provided the PlayStation Portable ‘experience’ was of high enough quality to pass their own very high standards. There is also the possibility that Sony may want to keep the name all to themselves for the future.
Given that Sony Ericsson have just reported some pretty serious financial losses, this may not be such a bad idea; for now anyway.

And according to this article, I totally agree with your opinion, but only this time!
i DONT GET IT you NEED more pictures to show u what it does
If you could build Sat Nav into this then the only thing missing would be to allow you to slot it into your car and use as your Radio interface. How cool would that be. You really would have something special. My Sony PSP has been in the drawer at home for nearly a year now, I think i would buy one of these and revert back from my Nintendo DS Lite if they came out !! Good spot Andrew !
