The Most Expensive Mobile Ever

Published January 26, 2009 by Harriet Rhodes in Uncategorized

If you’ve been complaining about the cost of your contract, spare a thought for this handset which will set you back a cool £1.6 million.

This glitzy iPhone has the dubious honour in this day and age of being the most expensive phone in the world.

The phone has been created by Australian jeweller Peter Aloisson who also has the Nokia 6300 Gold Edition in his repertoire.

The otherwise standard iPhone features a line of white gold around the edge of the phone, and is also encrusted with 138 high-quality cut diamonds.

That brings the price up a bit from the standard iPhone, but what really breaks the bank is the Home button which features a rare and rather large 6.6 carat diamond.
