As if Samsung’s range wasn’t confusing enough, the new B7330 OmniaPRO has been photographed and shown off all over the web, and it’s a really early update over the B7320 – a phone which has only recently been released – and not a rename for a different territory as previously thought. We’re glad the official announcement from Samsung cleared up that mystery!
Back to the B7330. It looks very similar to the B7320, but with some nice curves and swoops to replace its already aged sharp lines, and benefits from a 2.6″ screen with a square 320×320 pixel resolution, both HSDPA and HSUPA plus, most importantly, Windows Mobile 6.5. The QWERTY keyboarded phone also has a 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Assisted GPS, Bluetooth and MicroSD memory expansion with a maximum of 32GB.
The B7330′s facelift fits in with the news Samsung are to roll out a Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade on all current Omnia-series mobile phones. We are being told to expect the B7330 to be on sale from October, however there is no information concerning where in the world we’ll find it or how much it’ll cost when we do. The same applies to the 6.5 upgrade, but October seems a safe bet.
