Sony Ericsson Kanna Exposed

Published January 5, 2010 by Harriet Rhodes in Mobile Phones

Sony Ericsson KannaWe’re starting to get the feeling that this year could be a big one for Sony Ericsson. Yet another handset has been doing the rounds pre-announcement. The Sony Ericsson Kanna has surfaced, sibling to the soon to be announced Sony Ericsson Kurara, they share similar specs and design, bar one definitive point the Kanna features a full QWERTY keyboard.

No-one seems to know a lot about the Kanna, a few supposed specs have been leaked along with the photo, and Sony Ericsson is yet to comment. From the image alone we can work out that it’ll probably be running Symbian S60 5th Edition, and here’s what’s churning around the rumour mill. It’s alleged that the Kanna has a 3.2″ touchscreen display, with 360 x 640 pixels resolution, and of course the QWERTY keyboard. WiFi and an 8.1megapixel camera complete with autofocus also crop up on the sheet, however, it remains to be seen if it will match the Kurara’s HD video and image capabilities.

So it looks as though we’re going to have to wait and see if and when this leak evolves, perhaps Mobile World Congress will reveal more.
