Nokia N86 Has 4 GPS Options

There are 4 different types of GPS on your Nokia N86:

  1. Assisted GPS. A-GPS uses network data to enhance general satellite-based GPS.
  2. Network based GPS. Your handset can take information from your network to find where you are.
  3. Integrated GPS. Your Nokia N86 has a built-in GPS receiver that can be used.
  4. Bluetooth GPS. Connect your Nokia N86 to an external GPS using Bluetooth compatibility.

To enable to disable any of these options, simply do the following:

  • Go to MENU.
  • Select applications.
  • Choose GPS data.
  • Select options.
  • Choose positioning settings.
  • Then positioning methods.
  • Turn the features on or off as you desire.
