There are 4 different types of GPS on your Nokia N86:
- Assisted GPS. A-GPS uses network data to enhance general satellite-based GPS.
- Network based GPS. Your handset can take information from your network to find where you are.
- Integrated GPS. Your Nokia N86 has a built-in GPS receiver that can be used.
- Bluetooth GPS. Connect your Nokia N86 to an external GPS using Bluetooth compatibility.
To enable to disable any of these options, simply do the following:
- Go to MENU.
- Select applications.
- Choose GPS data.
- Select options.
- Choose positioning settings.
- Then positioning methods.
- Turn the features on or off as you desire.
