Nokia E5 users have two different options for easily locking the keypad to avoid accidentally pocket dialling.
Option One
- Go to HOME.
- Press MENU.
- Then EXIT.
Option Two
- Press the “end call” or “power” key. (That’s the red button on the right side of the phone above the QWERTY keyboard).
- Scroll to “lock keypad”.
- Press “ok” (which appears on the bottom left of the screen).
Unlocking the E5 Keypad
To unlock the keypad just press “unlock” (you’ll find this at the bottom left corner of the screen) and select “ok.”

I had put security code on my E5 Nokia. but now, i forgot my password.
Now i can not unlock my phone. can i get a help,plizz

the lock code for nokia E5 is 12345
there is a third way to lock keypad which is doing exactly what you do when you unlock it
i want to put a secuirty lock for my phone. n ive failed miserably. how the hell does it work?

Option 2 was the only one that worked for me, so thank you because I was wondering how on earth I was going to lock the damn phone manually.
