Nokia 2330 Flash Messages

Published February 16, 2011 by Kathryn Vercillo in Nokia, Tips & Tricks

Do you know the difference between flash messages and text messages? Flash messages are text messages that are automatically displayed upon reception (whereas traditional text messages require the recipient to actively choose to look at the message).

Sometimes you may want to send a flash message to really get someone’s attention. Here’s how to do that on the Nokia 2330 handset:

  • Go to MENU.
  • Select “message”.
  • Select “create message”.
  • Select “flash message”.
  • Enter the phone number of the person you want to send the flash message to.
  • Enter your message. Note that a flash message can only be 70 characters instead of the traditional 140 characters so you need to keep it short and sweet.
  • Hit “send”.
