Images of what could be the Nokia 703, or Sea Ray as it’s perhaps better known, have found their way onto the web leading many within the industry to speculate that a possible launch date is edging ever closer.
The leaked shots appeared on an official-looking promo poster for the device and were accompanied by a spec sheet detailing some key features.
According to wmpoweruser, who unearhed the poster, the tech line up includes a 3.7-inch LCD 480×800 display, 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording capabilities at 30fps, 8GB of storage and 512MB of RAM.
Perhaps most interestingly though is the “27 November” printed next to a header that reads “General” – could this be a preliminary launch date for the device?
The blurry image doesn’t give too much away about the device or provide any more information than what is already known, however, when taking the specs into account, it would appear that the Sea Ray will be a mid-range handset.
Other tech sites have speculates as much, with Pocketlint suggesting that the model number of 703 mean that it will fall below the Nokia 800, said to be the Finnish manufacturers flagship Mango device.
With both Microsoft and HTC holding what are expected to be Mango-related events tomorrow (1 September), it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see Nokia follow suit in the coming weeks and make official their Windows Phone line up.
