A new leak suggests Motorola is about to add to its growing Razr range of phones, this time with a device featuring a high definition screen and a very special camera.
The Motorola Droid Razr, or simply Motorola Razr here in the UK, launched near the end of last year, and was praised for its excellent screen and slim chassis.
More recently, the Razr Maxx has been announced for release in the UK this May. It’s essentially the Razr, but with a massive 3300mAh battery, which provides a huge 18 hours of talk time.
So what’s Motorola’s next Razr phone? Well, if the leak is correct, it will be the Razr HD. Discovered in a series of photos taken with the phone, which happened to appear on Picasa, it was through the EXIF data we’ve learned the camera has an f2.4 aperture, which puts it on par with the iPhone 4S. Although it’s not stated, a 12 or 13 megapixel count is also being rumoured.
With a name like Razr HD, it’s possible the phone will have a large touchscreen with a 1280 x 720 pixel high definition resolution, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is likely to be the standard operating system.
Other than these basic details, nothing else is known about the Razr HD, and with Motorola keeping very quiet at the moment, it could be a while before we hear any official news.
