The outstanding photographic capabilities of the Nokia Lumia 1020 have been turned to a good cause, as the video for this year’s BBC Children in Need single has been shot entirely on the 41 megapixel handset.
How Long will I Love You by singer/songwriter Ellie Goulding has been chosen as this year’s charity single by the corporation, with the video having been overseen by Notting Hill director Roger Michell.
Along with having been shot on the Lumia 1020, the handset can also be seen in the video, as can its Lumia 925 cousin. The footage looks incredible, with a mixture of black and white studio shots and outdoor, colour scenes that really show off what the smartphone can do.
